The University of Stavanger has the ambition of applying for a Centre for Application driven AI with focus on the following three main topics: energy, health, and education. We see this as relevant for all three tracks in the call; technology, innovation, and societal consequences. We are also open to be partner on some of these topics, and other topics where we are research active.

The research council have announced the first step of the AI centre call: https://www.forskningsradet.no/forskningspolitikk-strategi/ltp/kunstig-intelligens/

The research council strongly encourage collaboration between institutions.
