Welcome to the NORA Annual Conference 2025, at Byparken in Halden on 2-3 June. We're proud to present a lineup of excellent keynote speakers and contributing speakers, and look forward to gathering the AI community for networking and socialization at our conference dinner at Fredriksten Hotel. The NORA.ai Annual Conference summarises the most exciting Norwegian initiatives within AI research, innovation and education. Knowledge sharing and interaction is at the centre of the conference, which serves as a meeting place for senior researchers in the field, as well as Norwegian decision-makers and policymakers.

Practical Information
Conference Venue
This year's conference will take place at Byparken Halden, located right next to Halden train station. The address is Jernbanetorget 2, 1752 Halden. Lunch and snacks during the day will also be served here.
Accommodation
NORA.ai has reserved hotel rooms in three different hotels in Halden for conference participants until May 6:
Links with more information and booking codes will be issued to your email address after registration, and we recommend booking as soon as possible, as rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
(Accommodation is not included in the conference fee, but is paid directly to your hotel of choice. Any cancellations, questions regarding your room, etc., must also be directed to the hotel.)
Dinner
On Monday 2 June, NORA.ai will be hosting a dinner for the conference guests at Fredriksten Hotell, after the first day of the conference has come to a close. We'll meet at the hotel at 19:30 for dinner and socializing the rest of the evening - there will be entertainment as well! (You can let us know of any allergies or dietary requests in the conference registration form.)
Schedule for the evening:
- Mingling: 19:30 - 20:00
- Dinner and NORA Awards: 20:00 - 21:30
- Music: 21:30 - 22:30 (Departure bus: 22:30)
- Music continues until 23:30

We have arranged bus transportation to the conference dinner on Monday evening, with the following schedule:

19:20 Pick-up at Thon Hotel
19:30 Arrival at Fredriksten Hotell (Generalveien 25, 1769 Halden)
