The Norwegian startup Reliable AI — a member of the NORA.startup network — won the Outstanding Demo Award at the European Conference on Artificial Intelligence (ECAI) 2025 in Bologna. ECAI, Europe’s oldest and most prestigious AI conference, convenes thousands of researchers, industry leaders, and technology communities worldwide. The 2025 conference ran from Monday to Thursday, with one full day dedicated to demo presentations.

The Midnight Sun Summit in Mathematics and Engineering (MSSME) is organised by the Departments of Mathematics and Statistics and of Computer Science and Computational Engineering at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, and takes place on June 15-19, 2026 in Narvik.

NOBIM Conference is a biannual conference providing a meeting place for researchers, students, and industry within image processing, pattern recognition, and machine learning to expose relevant research and development. NOBIM 2025 takes place at NTNU in Gjøvik on November 6th and 7th.

Årets regionale FENS (Federation of European Neuroscience Societies)-konferanse ble hold på Universitetet i Oslo, og gjorde at mange ledende nevroforskere tok turen til byen. I kjølvannet av konferansen organiserte NORA en spesialutgave av CuttingEdgeAI, gjestet av de kjente forskerne Ken Harris (University College London), Terry Sejnowski (Salk Institute for Biological Studies) og Mazviita Chirimuuta (University of Edinburgh).  

This year’s regional FENS (the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies) meeting was held at the University of Oslo and drew many prominent neuroscientists to town. In wake of the event, NORA organized a special CuttingEdgeAI, guested by the well-renowned researchers Ken Harris (University College London) Terry Sejnowski (Salk Institute for Biological Studies) and Mazviita Chirimuuta (University of Edinburgh).  

The 28th European Conference on Artificial Intelligence (ECAI-2025) will be held in the beautiful city of Bologna during 25-30 October 2025. PhD students working in the broad research areas covered by ECAI are invited to participate in the Doctoral Consortium (DC) of ECAI-2025. The DC is an opportunity to meet and interact closely with established researchers in your field, as well as other PhD students. The DC also offers an opportunity to receive feedback on your work, and to get advice on managing your career.
