NORA is Norway's national academic network, with eight universities, five university colleges and four research institutions as partners. We can therefore safely say that we represent the breadth and diversity of Norwegian research, education and innovation within artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics. In addition, we have several private and public actors on board as strategic partners.
As CEO of NORA, you'll be part of setting the agenda for artificial intelligence in Norway. You will be working in the intersection between research, politics and policy implementation systems, and take part in important strategic decision making processes, with an overarching goal of coordinating and collating research, education and innovation within artifical intelligence in Norway. NORA has many exciting projects and initiatives you'll have the overall responsibility for, such as two PhD-level research schools, NORA.startup, CuttingEdgeAI and the NORA Annual Conference. In addition, NORA has strong international collaborators – the Alan Turing Institute (UK), HIDA (GER), WASP (SE), Pioneer Centre for AI (DK), FCAI (FI) og CADIA (IS) – collaborations which increasingly will gain importance given the geopolitical situation we are facing.
As CEO of NORA, you'll be leading a competent, independent and diverse team, consisting of seven full-time employees and two part-time employees.
