Once a month, dScience invites to lunch and professional talks at the Science Library, this time with Henrik Skaug Sætra, whose research focuses specifically on the sustainability related impacts of AI.

Presentation

When generative AI increasingly approaches or replicates human level content (images, sound, music, video), what happens to us as individuals and our societies? When we can no longer trust our senses, we need to adapt our information seeking behavior and ensure that both traditional and potentially new sources of veracity are readily available and used. In this talk, Henrik covers these topics and ends with a discussion of what this all means for the future of democracy.
