LIVE STREAM
Norway is a world leader in climate science, and in this event, leading experts will share and explore how AI can upgrade climate forecasting, and achieving levels of accuracy and insight previously unattainable. Whether you're a professional meteorologist, an AI enthusiast, or simply fascinated by the potential of technology to improve our understanding of the natural world, this event will be an enlightening experience
What to Expect:
This CuttingEdgeAI event will feature leading experts in the fields of AI and meteorology from the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research and the Meteorological Institute of Norway, and more. The first part will provide a comprehensive understanding of the intersection between meteorology and AI technology, highlighting their combined potential to enhance our predictive capabilities.
Showcase of Innovation:
We will showcase state-of-the-art weather forecasting models, including GraphCast by Google DeepMind and the new “21-dagersvarselet” form YR that is based on three different weather forecasting models, MEPS, EC medium range, and EC extended range.
We hope you can join us at this CuttingEgdeAI event into the frontier of weather prediction.
