Our Work

NORA shall contribute to developing joint research projects between partners, take an active part in establishing startups in the artificial intelligence field, and strengthen the collaboration between the consortium partners' research communities and the business community.

The consortium will further contribute to positioning Norwegian artificial intelligence research on the international arena and have a special responsibility for developing activities aimed at Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. In addition, the consortium will create meeting places and events for researchers and students.

The NORA consortium was established on 21 November, 2018, and consists of 17 partners: universities, university colleges and research institutes, located all over Norway.

The consortium also collaborates with seven strategic partners: companies and organisations of national importance in the public and private sector.

NORA's governing body is the board, where all partners are represented. The Secretariat runs the day to day operations.
